The Mandalorian Season 1

Originally, I was not going to watch The Mandalorian at all because it was not part of the movie story line. When I continued to see people going crazy over “Baby Yoda”, I had to see what the hype was all about. So, I ended up watching it in one day during a weekend in January. I have to admit I enjoyed it.
I think what caused me to enjoy the show was the relationship between Mando/Din Djarin and Baby Yoda/the Child. I do have to say that when I started the first episode, I called the Child “Baby Yoda” because I did not know the time frame of the show. I originally thought that with Baby Yoda flying all around the internet, it was taking place when Yoda was a child. When I heard from the show that it was taking place after the original trilogy, I stopped using Baby Yoda and started using the Baby. This is all because I went into the show blind with the exception of a creature looking like Yoda. With that out of the way, I will talk about the show itself.
I loved the moment when Din stuck out a finger to the Baby and the Baby put up a hand towards Din. It reminds me of us humans sticking out a finger for a baby to grab onto. I also loved a lot of the third episode. Specifically when Din watched the Baby get taken away, then asking a few times what was going to happen to him, followed by him going to his ship, preparing to fly away, then stop because of the Baby, and ending with him flying away with him. From that point on, I enjoyed seeing Din act like a father. Even if he is doing it unintentionally.
There have been a few times where I would have liked to know what Din was thinking when something happened or was said. One example was during the third episode when Din saw the Baby's bassinet in the garbage. Another time was when the Armorer mentioned the possibility of the Baby being reunited with his people. At that point, is Din not wanting to give up the Baby because he cares about him as if he is his own son? I just would love to know what Din is thinking.
Ending on that note, I enjoyed this season and can't wait to see the second one.
